Why should we choose Lake Effect DJs?  Our goal is to satisfy our clients needs and we go above and beyond to make sure our goal is met, duh ;).

Will you travel outside of your city for an event?  Yes, unless it’s Australia, kangaroos scare us…  Travel rates may apply.

Will you act as our EMCEE?  If you would like us to be your EMCEE, we are more than capable and would be happy to provide that service.

How involved can we be in selecting the music for our event?  Our service is completely at your discretion so you are free to decide how involved you’d like to be with song selection.  And don’t be afraid to add a little of your own retro favorites/secrets ;), it is YOUR night.   At our first meeting, we’ll get an idea of the type of songs you want to hear as well as specific songs (i.e. first dance, parent dance, must plays, etc.).

When do you arrive to set up before the wedding?  Between 1-2 hours before the event.

What are the terms of payment if I book your service?  We require a 50% down payment to secure an event date.

How do you dress for the event?  We always look sharp and professional with a custom-tailored suit.

Do you offer any additional packages (i.e. Lighting, Karaoke, Photo booths)?  We provide the best sound and lighting but for any other services we can recommend those vendors to you.  We like to focus on the music/atmosphere and being the best DJ we can be for your wedding.
